Palmeiras utility man Wesley Lopes is free for selection for his side’s Paulista quarter final against Bragatino on Thursday evening after recovering from a minor injury to his right thigh.

Palm are also expected to have Wendel, Wellington and Paraguayan William Mendieta at their disposal for the game after all three trained on Monday.

The game at the Pacaembu will see Palmeiras aim to take a step closer to clinching a 23rd Sao Paulo state championship, their last triumph coming in 2008.

The club have been beset by problems in the recent past, most notably a relegation from Brazilian Serie A in 2012, which they atoned for by winning the second division at a canter last year.
