Toronto FC goalkeeper Júlio César has praised the atmosphere at Major League Soccer stadiums.

The Brazil international, who is on loan from Queens Park Rangers, believes the MLS fans compare favourably to those he encountered in the Premier League.

“Queens Park Rangers in the first year was wonderful, other than the relegation,” he told Globo Esporte. “The Premier League has a fantastic organisation, the stadiums are always full and there is a great respect for the players from the fans.

“I must say though that what I’m seeing in the MLS is not much different from what I saw in England. The organisation is wonderful and the fans are very creative, it is one thing that I never thought I would find here.”
