The Champions League quarter-final draw was made this afternoon and there is Brazilian interest in Bayern Munich versus Manchester United and one of them has already talked up the ability of an opposition player.

Dante was quoted by Bundesliga Live twitter account praising Dutch forward Robin van Persie.

The 30-year-old Brazilian defender said: “Robin van Persie is a world-class striker but we don’t fear anyone.”

The quarter-final match will pit Bayern’s Brazilians Dante and Rafinha against the Premier League champions Rafael.

Although Rafael may not be assured of a starting position it would be safe to assume that Bayern’s pair will feature prominently.

Bayern will undoubtedly be favourites for the tie following United’s struggles this season but it should prove to be a fascinating pair of matches.

It will also be interesting to see Dante, previous linked with a move to Manchester United in January come up against the team that are apparently interested in brining him to Old Trafford.

The first leg takes place in Manchester on April 1st before the return leg is on Wednesday 9th in Munich. It should be a wonderful tie and one that Brazil fans will take in interest in.
