Zenit striker Hulk, fresh from his wonder goal in his side’s ill-fated Champions League win against Dortmund on Wednesday evening, appeared full of praise for incoming manager Andre Vilas Boas as the Portuguese readies himself to take over at the Russian club from Luciano Spaletti.
Former Tottenham boss Vilas Boas, with whom Hulk worked at Porto, is to take over the reigns at the St. Petersburg side, and his former Brazilian player said: “I know him very well, he is a good coach and young and full of energy.”
Zenit already have a strong Portuguese contingent, but Hulk does not think the team will suffer an imbalance as a result of Vilas Boas’ appointment: “We are a united team and there is no division in the locker room.”
