Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto reckons they can overcome Juventus in Europa LeagueNeto is yet to win a club medal
Fiorentina shot stopper Neto is confident that his side can overcome Italian league winners in-waiting Juventus when the sides meet for their Europa League second leg match on Thursday in Florence.
The 24 year-old Neto, who moved to Italy in 2001 from Atletico Paranaense, told goal.com: "Since the draw, Juventus have been favourites; we know the advantage of scoring an away goal, but it is important to realise that the confrontation is open."
"It's time to play with intelligence, relying on our potential while respecting our opponent, who is the current (Italian) champion and leader."
Neto, who won Olympic silver at London in 2012 with the Brazil under-23 side, says that consistency is the key to Fiorentina's improved form in 2014, as they lie fourth in Serie A: "The job now is to maintain this level of regularity, which is sometimes the hardest part."
