Ramires and Willian bounced back from their weekend red cards to help Chelsea qualify for the next knock-out phase of the Champions League.

The Blues defeated Galatasaray 2-0 with goals from Samuel Eto’o and Gary Cahill and Chelsea’s three Brazilians contributed to the home side’s win at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar assisted the crucial opener from Eto’o with only four minutes played and bounced back from some poor recent displays with a much improved performance this evening.

Willian was his industrious best and worked tirelessly throughout before being replaced. Once again his pressing was instrumental for José Mourinho’s team.

Ramires was effective defensively making two tackles plus an interception and clearance apiece, however his passing was poor and he’ll now have to sit out Chelsea’s various matches coming up.

Oscar, Willian and Ramires weren’t the only Brazilian’s involved though as the Turkish visitors could call upon Alex Telles and Felipe Melo.

There was no surprise when Melo picked up an early yellow card but ultimately Galatasaray’s Brazilian duo were unable to help their side achieve a surprise result and it was Chelsea’s Samba stars who were happiest at the full time whistle.
