The Brazilian right-back is continuing to attract the interest of Europe’s top clubs.

Catalan newspaper Sport has revealed that Barcelona sent a scout to watch Danilo in Porto’s Europa League clash against Napoli.

The Catalan giants want the 22-year-old to prepare for the possible departure of Daniel Alves at the end of the season.

It won’t be easy to sign the former Santos man, however, with Porto expected to demand at least €50m for the player who is also on Real Madrid’s wish-list.

Danilo’s current contract runs until 2016 but is highly-tipped to make a move to one of Europe’s top clubs before then, with Juventus also rumoured to be interested.

Danilo’s agent, Fulvio Misorelli, said that he was aware that Barcelona had sent a scout to watch his client but that so far no contact has been made about signing the player.
