Ronaldinho has admitted his form in 2014 has not been the best and concedes he needs to improve his performances.

The Atlético Mineiro playmaker is yet to register a goal or assist in a handful of appearances for Galo this season and ahead of his team’s Copa Libertadores match against Nacional, the Brazilian superstar spoke to Globo Esporte.

The 33-year-old said: “I hope as soon as I play a few games this season, I can improve my performance, the physical and technical aspects of my game. I hope I get to have a great performance soon.”

A great performance could be useful this week in Paraguay in the Libertadores especially with Brazil clubs traditionally struggling away from home and Atlético fans will be expecting him to start shining soon.

Ronaldinho hopes in the upcoming fixtures that he can link up with the other attackers in the side and start producing chances for his team mates.

He concluded: “I’ll do what I’ve been doing. I’m a player who creates for the team. Hopefully there is enough movement in front from the forwards so I find them in good conditions.”
