Sao Paulo midfielder Denilson is set to give a boost to his club by returning for selection imminently, following a muscular problem in his left thigh. The 26 year-old former Arsenal player has been dogged by the injury at the start of this season and would come back intot the reckoning to aid a side that has won their last three matches.
According to reports in the Brazilian media, coach Muricy Ramalho has taken part in a full training session but will not be rushed back for Thursday’s Cup game against CSA.
Denilson, who has represented Brazil at under-17 level, came back to his homeland after a largely unsuccessful spell in England and has since won the Copa Sudamerica in 2012 after rejoining his boyhood club.
