Despite reports linking the Brazil captain with Spanish giants Barcelona, the 29-year-old insists he is content in the French capital.
Thiago Silva has been high on Barcelona’s wish-list since last year and news that captain Carles Puyol will now be departing the Nou Camp has reignited speculation surrounding the defender.
The former AC Milan star has a contract until 2018 and is not looking to leave PSG.
“I feel good, I feel valued by these things that come out in the press.”
“I’m pleased, my work is being recognised, but I’m happy in Paris and I want to fulfil my contract.”
PSG’s resurgence as a European force has put them well in the mix for Champions League honours this season and their captain believes they have a chance of achieving exactly that this season.
“If we continue playing in this form, we have everything we need to win the Champions League,” completed Thiago Silva.
