The current Bundesliga champions took no prisoners at Wolfburg’s Volkswagen Arena on Saturday as they ran out 6-1 winners.

Goals from Shaqiri, Muller (2), Ribéry and Mandzukic (2) saw Bayern Munich move to 68 points from 24 games as they continued to assert their dominance on the German league.

“Wolfsburg are a good team and caused us some problems in the first half. But in the second half we managed to score five goals in 17 minutes. We managed to impose our style of play and we didn’t give them any chances. I’m pleased to have helped the team and with my assist for Mandzukic’s goal,” said Brazilian right-back Rafinha.

“It’s always a tough game at Wolfsburg and today wasn’t any different. The first half was close but we played really well in the second-half. We scored lots of goals in a really good spell. Our attacking power is incredible and we managed to get another win to maintain our invincibility,” said Brazilian defender Dante.
