Out of work Portuguese coach Andre Vilas Boas has stated a desire to coach a Brazilan team at some point in his career, according to reports on goal.com.br.

“I am anywhere that has football,” said the former Tottenham, Chelsea and Porto manager, “My ambition is to one day work with a team from Brazil. I want to work with pure talent from the beginning.”

“I was very close to signing for a Brazilian team before moving to Tottenham. It’s one of my personal goals and I believe one day that it will happen.”

Brazilian club football has witnessed something of a renaissance in recent yeras, thanks in no small part to the emergence of company investment in player contracts.

Vilas-Boas has effectively failed in his two previous posts in England after being dismissed not long into both roles.
