For their last home game, the Corinthians have rented the Morumbi stadium, much greater than their usual Pacaembu, in order to have a title party with the most fans possible. São Paulo FC will receive a part of the ticket sales.

There was about 60.000 tickets for sale and they have been sold out in about 48 hours.

The Corinthians will host Ponte Preta. A victory would be close to a title, even if Inter beats Palmeiras, since the goal difference currently is 4 points better for the paulists.

Ponte Preta needs one point in two games to ensure that they remain in Serie A. Muricy Ramalho, coach of the Internacional has already declared being furious about Ponte’s apparent intention to have substitutes play the title game, in order to save some key players for the last game (in which they will host Brasiliense).

Ponte Preta’s team spirit and confidence have been injured after the 2-6 blast they received from Palmeiras last week-end.
