Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has stated his desire to return to the club and manage it one day, providing he continues a progression which has seen him take turkish side Sivasspor to fourth in their domestic league.

A stellar Madrid career was had by Carlos, who picked up four La Liga titles and an incredible three Champions League triumphs in an 11 year association with the Spanish side. In an interview with Marca, the 125-times capped defender said: “To train Real Madrid within about ten years is a dream that I have.”

As it stands, however, the Brazilian will be shouting on his former charges in tonight’s Champions League match against Schalke: “Real Madrid are very good on the ball but Schalke are dangerous on the break.”

Real are chasing an historic treble, being as they are top of La Liga, in the Copa del Rey final and of course into the last 16 of Europe’s premier cup competition.
