The Brazilian hopes that Milan will draw strength from their triumph over Sampdoria and is looking ahead to victory over Atlético Madrid.

The Rossoneri bounced back from defeat to Atlético Madrid in last week’s Champions League clash with a 2-0 away win over Sampdoria on Sunday.

Milan have endured below-par season by their previous high standards and are currently down in ninth place in the Serie A standings.

Confidence, however, is improving under Clarence Seedorf and goals from QPR loanee Adel Taarabt and Adil Rami.

Brazil midfielder Kaka has made it clear that he and his team-mates will now look to push on both domestically and in Europe.

“It was an important win,” he told SkySport24. “Even those who hadn’t played that much before yesterday did well and we are all happy. We are now starting to reap the rewards of the work of Clarence Seedorf. Now we’ll see what happens in Europe, what is certain is we are going to Madrid to win.”
