May 7th is when the Seleção head coach will reveal his initial 23-man squad and then six days later the extra seven will be confirmed.

For players selected as part of the extra seven they will have the opportunity to impress the Brazil boss because he won't have to confirm his final 23 until the end of May, when FIFA want squads confirmed.
