Dani Alves: "We have to kill the tie off at home"
The Brazilian right-back has emphasised that Barcelona are not yet through to the next round of the Champions League and need to avoid any slip-ups in the second-leg against Manchester City.
The 30-year-old scored the second goal in the final minutes of Tuesday’s Champions League encounter. The 2-0 away win puts the Catalans in a strong position but the Brazil international is not resting on his laurels.
“We scored two goals away from home and we didn’t concede. We still have a second leg and we have to kill the tie off at home as a lot can happen in 90 minutes, but we have an important advantage.”
“The whole team was fantastic. We knew that it was going to be a tough match, very hard, because the rival we were going up against are very intense. We wanted to to have possession and be a difficult side to deal with for them.”
