Ahead of AC Milan’s Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid this evening, the Italian club’s coach Clarence Seedorf, once of Botafogo of course, reserved high praise for Brazilian-born striker Diego Costa, whom he believes is a fantastic talent.

“Atletico have had two very good seasons and they are repeating a very good level. Sure, they are favourites in this tie but it is clear in the Champions League Milan has a very important story and we will try to overcome our adversity,” Seedorf told reporters.

“Diego Costa is a fantastic striker. Brazil wanted that player in their squad, so no need to say much more than that.”

There will be plenty of Brazilian talent on show in tonight’s game, with Atletico likely to name Costa, Miranda and Diego in their team, whilst Milan will no doubt call on the services of Kaka at some point in the match.
