Jadson made his debut for Corinthians against Palmeiras in the first game since the departure of club talisman Alexandre Pato to Sao Paulo and almost helped fans of the club to start to forget the old and celebrate the new until a late Palm goal ruined what would have been a big victory.

This derby match in the Paulista state championship gave Corinthians a chance to climb off the bottom of their section and they were looking good after Romarinho had given them the lead after 62 minutes.

Jadson lasted until the 77th minute before being replaced by Renato Augusto and six minutes later, Palmeiras made it 1-1 through Alan Kardec, who is on loan from Portuguese outfit Benfica.
