Toronto FC Head Coach Ryan Nelsen has admitted he is excited by the capture of goalkeeper Júlio César.
The Brazil international has signed on loan from Queens Park Rangers and Nelsen believes the opportunity to bring in the stopper was one Toronto couldn’t turn down.
“There probably won’t be another chance in the near future to get a current Brazil national team player a few months out before a World Cup in Brazil,” he told mlssoccer.net. “I think it is such a fantastic opportunity for our fans, our city and for the MLS as a whole.”
