Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has revealed that he is scared of picking up an injury and missing the World Cup in Brazil.
Uruguay striker Luis Suarez admits he is "scared" of getting injured and missing out on his country’s World Cup campaign and the opportunity to face England.
Suarez is concerned he may suffer the same fate as England winger Theo Walcott and Colombian striker Radamel Falcao who have already seen their Brazil hopes disappear after picking up knee problems injuries.
The Liverpool striker told Sport 890 AM: "The truth is that I am scared of what happened to Falcao and Walcott. But you live in the present and you always give your best for the club - you can't be thinking about that all the time.
"It is a unique opportunity and we all want to be there, but I prefer to focus my mind on the English league. The moment to think about the national team will arrive later."
