Jonathan wants Inter to go on winning runJonathan played for Santos and Cruzeiro in his homeland
Inter Milan defender Jonathan has tod his teamates to embark on a winning streak after edging out Sassuolo 1-0 at the weekend, a result which leaves them 11 points away from a Champions league berth with 15 games to go in Serie A.
"All that mattered was winning, especially at a time like this , where we had some issues finding the target," the 27 year-old told Inter's official website.
"Winning breeds confidence for the rest of our league campaign."
Jonathan went on to describe new Inter colleague and fellow Brazilian Hernanes as "a quality player, he's classy on the ball, as you saw against Sassuolo."
With no European football this season for the Nerazzuri, concentration can centre on the rest of the Serie A fixtures. Determination to play in next term's continental competitions , as well as finishing above city rivals AC, are the main targets for Jonathan and co. for the forseeable future.
