Liverpool and Uruguay sensation Luis Suárez has called for Philippe Coutinho to be selected for the Brazil national team again following his star performance in the Reds 5-1 win over Arsenal.

The South American duo ran riot at Anfield in the early Premier League kick off and speaking after the game, Suárez gave his friend some high praise.

ESPN Brasil spoke with the Uruguay forward, who said: “When Coutinho’s right, he is the difference that makes Liverpool.

“I guess that he is a very great player and he is showing that he has the quality to play for both Liverpool and in the national team. I’m proud to be playing with him.”

Some praises from Suárez, who many have acclaimed to be the best player in the Premier League this season.

So, the Uruguayan believes his team mate should be in the Brazil team but what does the youngster think himself?

The 21-year-old also spoke with ESPN Brasil and reiterated his desire to achieve a “dream” and play in the World Cup.

Coutinho said: “It’s hard, I have the dream of playing the World Cup. Maybe if not now, next time, but I do not know. I will work at it.”

If the Brazilian keeps on improving it will be no surprise to see him in Seleção colours once again.
