Milan are the latest club to be linked with Porto midfielder Fernando.
Sport Mediaset claims that Adriano Galliani met with the 26 year-old’s representatives in Brazil over the winter break in a bid to gauge whether a deal would be possible.
The Rossoneri are believed to be looking to acquire a replacement for Nigel De Jong, who is out of contract in the summer and, as yet, has not agreed a renewal.
Fernando, whose deal with Porto also expires at the of the season, is believed to be Galliani’s preferred option, but given that the likes of Juventus and Manchester City are believed to be interested in him, Milan are unlikely to be the Alto Paraíso de Goiás-native’s first choice.
