Dani Alves has delivered a harsh warning to anybody that doubts his Barcelona team this season by insisting that those not entirely behind the Catalan team should stay away from their games as they’re clearly not committed supporters.

“Fans are very pessimistic when there is a bad result,” Alves told reporters after Barca’s 2-0 Copa Del Rey win against Real Sociedad on Wednesday night, “Those who do not come to the ground are not true cules (Barcelona fans).”

“Everyone has to do their part. If you doubt this team it’s better if you don’t come.”

“It is important to win because we live like that. What we cannot do is doubt ourselves.”

Despite only losing once at home since April 2012, some Barca fans booed the team excessively after they lost against Valencia, 3-2, in a league match on February 1st.
