Manchester United interested in Grêmio’s talented youngster RamiroRamiro in action
Grêmio midfielder Ramiro Moschen Benetti is being closely watched by Premier League champions Manchester United.
More commonly known as Ramiro, the 20-year-old impressed immensely for Grêmio during 2013 and according to Sports Direct News it has alerted the Red Devils.
They state that Man United have contacted the Brazilian club, although these claims have been refuted by Grêmio. Brazilian newspaper Lance also quote the footballers father and agent Gilnei Benetti.
He said: “I am aware of this matter too, this morning. But nothing has been said. Some mentioned interest, scouting and others that have already happened but nothing official has been said.
“When the players are being scouted and people are watching, we know what happens from you (the press) or even entrepreneurs but there was no contact from us (with Manchester United).”
Lance added that interest has been registered from Italian sides Parma and Roma as the midfielder has an Italian citizenship.
Whilst Sports Direct News revealed that Ramiro is high on Man United manager David Moyes’ wish list. Moyes is reported to have a hefty lump of cash available to him to buy players this summer.
However, it should be noted that Sports Direct News are not the most reliable news source from England. It remains to be seen whether the Premier League champions are truly interested in Grêmio’s Ramiro or not.
