Having made only seven appearances for Bahia in 2013, the ‘American Pelé’ will sign for Championship side Blackpool.
He arrived in Brazil with the aim of revitalising his career but things have not gone to plan for the striker. He found it difficult to adapt and in just 155 minutes of playing time he failed to score a single goal.
Adu hasn’t appeared for Bahia since August of last year.
