Former Santos youngster Paulo Henrique has been officially unveiled as a Palmeiras player and has immediately spoken of a desire to succeed at his new club.

“I see it as a challenge and fresh start too, I had a difficult few months.”, the 21 year-old  left back told goal.com.br.

“Today I am happy and honoured to wear the shirt of Palmeiras, it’s a challenge that I set out to conquer and I’m sure it will be alright.”

“It’s a quiet group, without controversy and vanity, so I’m glad to be part of it.”

Henrique will certainly have plenty of experience on hand to help as Palmeiras have Brazil veteran and World Cup winner Lucio in the close season.
