Germany: Roberto Firmino in the goals again
The Brazilian played a pivotal role in Hoffenheim’s 3-0 victory over relegation rivals Hamburg. Firmino opened the scoring in the 4th minute before assisting the third. It was is ninth goal of the league season.
Felipe Santana also opened the scoring in his side’s 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg whilst another Brazilian defender scored in Bundesliga. Dante scored the 4th goal in Bayern’s 5-0 rout over Eintracht Frankfurt.
England: Paulinho strikes on comeback
After being out injured since December, Paulinho marked his return to the Tottenham Hotspur team with the equaliser against Hull City to earn Spurs a point.
Spain: Diego back with a bang
Diego joined Atlético Madrid on loan in the final day of the January transfer window and scored on his return as Los Colchoneros moved to the top of La Liga for the first time since 1996.
After entering the Vicente Calderón Stadium in the second half, he scored the final goal in the 4-0 victory.
France: Alex and Lucas shine for PSG
Paris Saint-Germain remain top of the Ligue 1 table after defeating Bordeaux on Friday night thanks to a man of the match display from Lucas Moura.
Lucas assisted PSG’s opener and the second in their 2-0 win, with Brazilian Alex scoring the second in the 88th minute, his second of the season.
Italy: Paulinho earns Livorno a point
Livorno earned a valuable point in their survival battle in Serie A, as they drew 3-3 away from home to bottom of the table Catania.
Paulinho scored from the penalty spot to put them 2-1 ahead but they conceded a late equaliser to ensure the Brazilians 8th goal of the season only contributed to a draw.

Vitória beat Rio Ave 2-0 thanks to a double Rafael Martins, his five goals this season have helped up to 12th.
Brazilian Derley scored for Maritimo to pull off a surprise in the Liga Sagres as they beat Porto 1-0. It was his ninth goal of the season and came from the penalty spot.
