Celta Vigo have taken the Brazilian on loan from Spartak Moscow for the rest of the season.
The player ended 2013 with São Paulo but having played few games and with the blessing of both São Paulo and Spartak Moscow, who own the players economic rights, he will head for Spain in the hope of getting more first-team football.
The 27-year-old came to the fore with Goiás before being snapped up by Spartak Moscow. He has since had loan spells at Grêmio and São Paulo but struggled for goals in 2013, netting only three times.
