Bologna beat the transfer deadline to sign Corinthians midfielder Ibson.
The 30 year-old has arrived for an undisclosed fee and goes straight into Head Coach Davide Ballardini’s squad for Saturday’s home tie against Udinese.
The São Gonçalo-native won the 2013 Recopa Sudamericana with Corinthians and made 20 appearances as they finished 10th in the Brasileirão last season.
