Toloi completes move to RomaToloi is the latest Brazilian to sign for the Roma club
Roma have completed the signing of Sao Paulo centre back Rafael Toloi on a loan agreement until the end of the season.
The 23 year-old former Goias player has long been linked with the switch and has managed to secure the move on the final day of the European transfer window.
The Rome side will have an option to purchase Toloi on a permanent deal should both parties deem the loan a success.
A Brazil under-20 international, Rafael Toloi won the Copa Sudamerica with Sao Paulo in 2012.
Roma have had a strong Brazilian presence in defence over the last twenty years, with the likes of Cafu, Maicon, Aldair and Marquinhos having donned the maroon strip for the Italian side.
