Brazilian defender Henrique has spoken about tonight’s Ligue 1 match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bordeaux.

The experienced Bordeaux player also discussed the three Brazilian defenders he may face.

The 30-year-old spoke to Lance and laughed when he was asked about the task facing his side and admitted it was “difficult” but he expects a good game.

Henrique added: “We are accustomed; it is a strong and great team.

“We know it will be a battle but we expect to make a good game.

“Thiago Silva needs no comment… one of the best defenders in the world, captain of the Brazilian national team.

“Alex has a very nice career in Europe; Chelsea, PSG with many good games. And Marquinhos is a young man with so much potential.

“They hired a project to be the best team in the world for several years, so have young players with big margins of progression. They will be one of the best in the world.”

Bordeaux started the season poorly but enjoyed an upturn in results and are currently 7th in the French top flight.

Henrique has been explaining why Les Girondins started so poorly.

He said: “What happened was that some players in the market at that time, had the desire to go out, some left, and were in doubt.

“It turned out that the team did not make the necessary efforts to win the games.

“After the window has closed, we joined together, even though we saw that the situation was difficult.”
