Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has been talking about the South Africa friendly in March and admits he may try to introduce some new faces.

The friendly game will be just three months before the World Cup and is seen by many as a last chance to impress the Seleção boss.

Felipão will look to add some unfamiliar faces to his team as he looks to finalise his World Cup squad.

Scolari’s comments were published on Brazil’s football confederation website and picked up by Xinhua and Abola.

He said: “We are closely watching players with a view to choosing a squad against South Africa on March 5.

“I can say in advance that there might be some changes.”

The quotes from Scolari will be a boost for AC Milan’s Kaká, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and Manchester City’s Fernandinho.

Felipão will announce his squad for the South Africa friendly on February 11th and the trio above, alongside several other Brazilian on the peripheral of the national team will hope to make the cut.
