With the money Neymar’s Dad received, two Paulinho’s could have been bought
Neymar’s father has confirmed that he received €40 million euros from Barcelona, whilst his son Neymar has sent an indirect message to those talking about his transfer fee.
Using his Instagram account, the 21-year-old published that everyone should just be happy and ignore those who talk about him.
Neymar said: “Want some advice? Be happy and do not care about the people around you. They do not know half of what happens to you.”
Lance then went on to compare what players could have been bought with the money Neymar’s Dad earned, which incredibly could have signed two Paulinho’s.
They list numberous examples, Manchester City’s Fernandinho cost €40 million and also Mario Goetze who cost Bayern Munich €37 million.
Only a couple of players cost more than the €40 million which Neymar’s father apparently earned, although some suggest that money will go to his son.
Juan Mata cost more this January transfer window and Gareth Bale cost almost double that for Real Madrid in the summer but the fact that Neymar’s father received an amount of money which could have bought two Paulinho’s seems extraordinary.
