Sky Italia believe Hernanes is close to Inter Milan switch
Hernanes is reportedly close to joining Inter Milan after Sky Italia reported that the two teams are close to agreeing a deal for the Brazilian.
The 28-year-old has been a key player for Lazio since joining the club and although he has stated numerous times he is happy in Rome it appears Internazionale may finally get their man.
Inter’s club president Erick Thohir is aiming to boost his sides chances of success this season after faltering in recent weeks and wants Hernanes to be the main to drive them forward into a new era.
The reported deal on the table is €13 million as well as including young defender Ibrahima Mbaye in the deal. This is something that may appeal to Lazio despite them initially refuting interest in Hernanes.
With various experienced pros expected to leave the San Siro club in the summer, the signature of the Brazilian midfielder is key.
If Inter were to get their man, Goal.com believe he would sign on a three-and-a-half year deal which would be worth €2.4 million in his first season before rising to €3.2 million.
Although with only two day left of the transfer window, it will need to be hastily agreed soon between the two clubs.
