After a failed attempt to loan the player, the Italian club now want to buy the 27-year-old.
Henrique could be on his way out of Palmeiras after Napoli indicated that they are willing to buy the player, who has four international caps with Brazil. The defender’s agent, Marcos Malaquias confirmed the interest of the Italians but emphasised that everything still depended on Palmeiras.
As the transfer window closes on January 31 the deal may be completed soon. He is one of the most experienced members of the Palmeiras squad and has previously stated his desire to reach 100 appearances for the São Paulo outfit.
