Oscar scored the only goal of the game on Sunday as Chelsea beat Premier League rivals Stoke City in the FA Cup.

The Brazil youngster scored a sublime free-kick on 27 minutes to secure the Blues passage to the fifth round and in the end it capped an outstanding performance by 22-year-old.

In tandem with Belgium superstar Eden Hazard, the pair terrorized Stoke all afternoon and it easily could have been a heavier defeat for the Potters.

Oscar and Hazard embarked on numerous dribbles and the Brazilian hit the woodwork as well. Chelsea manager José Mourinho praised the performance of the Samba star.

Mourinho was quoted by Football.co.uk and said: “The free-kick obviously makes us happy.

“It’s always good when you see a player like that, after the normal training session, he dedicates some minutes every day to train a specific thing. To score a beautiful goal was good.”

The Chelsea manager also discussed his sale of Juan Mata to rivals Manchester United and talked about how his desire to make Oscar his main playmaker means he moved the Spaniard on.

Mourinho said: “I feel sorry that I didn’t make him happy, but football is football and I build a team around Oscar in that position.”
