Corinthians promote four players to their professional ranks following their impressive showing at the CopinhaCorinthians may look to utilise youth in this year's Campeonato Paulista
Besides midfielder Zé Paulo and left-back Guilherme Arana, centre-back Pedro and holding midfielder Fabiano will be available to Mano Menezes this season.
Despite the frustration of having lost the Copa Sao Paulo to rivals Santos, Corinthians will now benefit from four new players in their professional ranks.
The meeting in which the names of those promoted were decided was attended by former captain Alessandro, now on the board of the club and with the mission of helping young players progress from junior levels.
The quartet should train with the professionals at the team’s training ground at Joaquim Grava in the coming days. The Campeonato Paulista, a state championship generally of a lower quality than the national league, may provide the youngsters with an ideal opportunity to make their debuts.
