The 27-year-old former Buraspor and Santos player will join fellow South Americans Pittoni, Maxi and Emanuel Biancucchi at the Tricolor.
Bahia confirmed through their website on Friday that they have signed Chilean Sebástian Pinto from Turkey’s Buraspor. He represented his country in World Cup qualification and will become the central striker for his new team.
Bahia’s new signing started his career at Universidad de Chile before representing Cobreloa (CHI), Santos, Nancy (FRA), Godoy Cruz (ARG), Audax Italiano (CHI), Varese (ITA) and O'Higgins (CHI) before being signed by the Turkish club.
The player is expected to make Chile’s final squad for the World Cup as he played in four qualifying matches, starting against Argentina and appearing as a substitute against Venezuela, Colombia and Paraguay.
