The midfielder has been well-received by his new teammates and even compared Rio de Janeiro to the island of Sardinia.
Adryan was officially unveiled as a Cagliari player on Thursday in a loan deal that will run until June 2015.
“I want to be remembered fondly by fans and repay the faith that the president Massimo Cellino has placed in me. Sardinia is very similar to Rio de Janeiro. I almost feel at home. My teammates welcomed me with open arms. My first impression is that it is a very good team with great players,” Adryan said.
