Seleção stars Paulinho and Sandro returned to action today for Tottenham Hotspur as the pair made it through a behind closed doors friendly against league rivals West Ham.

The Brazilian duo came through unscathed having missed the last several league and cup matches through injuries.

Spurs ran out 3-0 winners in the friendly fixture, with Paulinho getting himself on the scoresheet.

The summer signing completed 60 minutes, whilst Sandro played the first half and the duo returning will be a big boost for head coach Tim Sherwood, even though he has won numerous games without them.

Sandro injured his calf during the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool and has missed six weeks of action. Paulinho was on the receiving end of a nasty tackle against Stoke on December 29th and suffered ankle ligament damage.

The injury to Paulinho in particular was incredibly unfortunate as the Stoke match was arguably his best game for the club.

The pair will be delighted to be back and both are likely to feature against Manchester City on January 29th.

The Brazilian duo played in the reverse clash, which ended in a 6-0 drumming for Tottenham so will be gunning for revenge next week.
