Brazil under-20 starlet Adryan has agreed to leave his home town club Flamengo and join Italian side Cagliari on an intitial loan deal.
The 19 year-old, born in Rio de Janeiro, had been linked to a host of European clubs in recent times, including Manchester United, but has opted to join the Serie A side after being in talks with them since before Christmas, reports football-italia.net.
Having represented Brazil at under-17 level as well, Adryan joins with the option of making the move permanent, although no official future fee has been disclosed.
He has been described by Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino as “a phenomenon”, big things are expected from Adryan, who played for Flamengo’s first team only 27 times prior to his Italian move.
