Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura has repeated his determination to stay at French club PSG, even if they bring in more players.

The former Sao Paulo attacker has been seen more on the bench in recent months as the Paris club continue to go with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi up top.

And news today from head coach Laurent Blanc suggests that more signings are in the offing, with Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye heavily linked with a move. In an interview with Canal Plus, Blanc said: “Cabaye? He’s a player I know well and who has the right attitude.”

“We have other options. It would be good if we could sign another midfielder.”

Brazil’s Lucas is not interested in leaving the club he joined 18 months ago and the man with 31 caps for his country stated so: “I am focused on PSG. I have never thought about a transfer this winter.”

Moura is widely expected to make the Brazil World Cup squad this summer but lack of playing time could count against him as the tournament nears.
