David Luiz has previewed his side’s clash against Manchester United on Sunday and described it as another game they need to win.

The Brazilian was talking to the official Chelsea website about how United remain a dangerous team to play despite struggling this season now Sir Alex Ferguson has retired.

Luiz added: “It’s a big game for us and I think it’s a great moment for us to be playing against a big club.

“Sunday’s game is another important one and we need to win.

“It’s natural, when you have a transition and there is a new philosophy that’s what happens.

“They had Sir Alex Ferguson in charge for a long time, now they have David Moyes who is a fantastic coach as well, but sometimes you need time to adapt.”

The 26-year-old believes Chelsea need to be winning these home matches if they are to keep up their title challenge.

“They are still a very dangerous team with big players and it certainly won’t be an easy game,” said the Brazilian.

“We all know their history and we know about the quality players they have, so we will need to work hard, like we've been doing in training all week, and make sure we get the three points.

“You need to win the games at home if you want to win the title.”
