With two goals, the Timão number 10 puts his team through to the quarter-finals of the Copinha.

At any level, games between Corinthians and Flamengo are steeped in tradition. It was no different on Friday night when the two teams met in the second round of the São Paulo Junior Cup.

With two goals in the second-half, the midfielder Zé Paulo helped the paulista club come from behind and advance to the next stage of the competition.

With three wins and a draw, the teams arrived at the game with identical records in the competition thus far. Flamengo started the competition strongly they have struggled in recent games. The opposite is true for Corinthians who appear to be discovering form at just the right time.
