Antonio Araujo, the agent of Porto midfielder Fernando, insists his client is set to stay at the Primeira Liga holders.
It had been widely believed that the 26 year-old would look to move on when his contract expires in the summer, after spending seven years with the club.
The likes of Milan and Manchester United had been strongly linked, but Araujo now claims renewed terms have been agreed with Porto.
“We’ve come to an agreement with Porto,” he told O Jogo.
“The only thing that is missing are the details. Once they’re agreed we’ll sign.”
Fernando joined Porto in June 2007 from Vila Nova. He has made 14 appearances this season.
