Botafogo train in raw heat at the Engenhão
New alvinegro coach Eduardo Hungaro held a lively training session on Friday. As well as shouting plenty of instructions, he could be seen listening attentively to the thoughts of his players
In the Rio de Janeiro heat, the Botafogo squad were put through their paces in their last training session before they travel to Saquarema on Friday night. This is where they will hold their pre-season training camp until 17 January.
Some of the players complained about the heat, and Marcelo Mattos left the field as soon as the whistle went to end the session.
Eduardo Hungaro spent a lot of time barking instructions and highlighting positional errors committed by his players. For a short while he used Henrique and Sassá together. The two combined well but the star of the show was the energetic Rafael Marques.
