The USA national side are to train at the Barra Fundo training centre where they will play a practice match against the team managed by Muricy Ramalho next week.

Managed by the former German striker Jurgen Klinsmann, Team USA will use São Paulo’s facilities in the coming weeks as they look to prepare themselves for the 2014 World Cup. The Americans will be based there during the tournament.

The practice match will be the first time that the Tricolor test themselves against an adversary in 2014. They have begun pre-season without having made the changes to their squad that they had wished. The club have stumbled in their attempts to bring in reinforcements in the transfer window and until now have only managed to bring in the right-back Luis Ricardo.
