Manchester United could firm up their interest in Cruzeiro duo Dedé and Everton Ribeiro this month.

The Premier League holders have been strongly linked with the latter for some time, but latest reports suggest manager David Moyes is now keen on a double swoop.

With Dedé valued at around €15 million and Everton Ribeiro marked up similarly, any operation would not be cheap, but given United’s current struggles, Moyes may believe it’s a gamble worth taking.

Everton Ribeiro is the more notable of the two, after being the catalyst behind Cruzeiro’s Brasileirão winning campaign. The 24 year-old, who was voted the league’s best player in 2013, scored seven goals and provided eleven assists in 35 appearances.

Dedé is not quite as highly-rated, but still played a crucial role in last season’s success. He made 31 appearances, scoring two goals.
